hmmz, am now back from my church camp which was held @ Aloha Changi.. shall tok abt my days spent at e camp... MonDay: well, so all of us met at church at ard 2pm.. left for our camp site at ard 2.30... reached there an hr later... den was being informed of the groupings, e rooms where the boys r being spilt into 2 grps to slp in 2 rooms, n e gals another 2 grp to slp in another 2 rooms.. was shocked to hear tat i was e grp leader of my grp.. =_=" was how i felt too at the same time other than being shocked.. den we were all being issued with our name tags n e camp handbook loh.. den erm, well after a while upon reaching dere,i was already bitten on both my legs by those mosquitoes... =X ok, so after everyone left their belongings in e room, we started off with some icebreaking games first which were kinda boring... =X cuz not everyone was actively participating loh.. den after games, bathing time n then had dinner, food was tasty... =) den ok, was time for hearing the speaker speaking to us e message which was based on e title of this camp.. btu before tat we sang some songs in e booklet first.. den after tat we had free time, den supper, n was actually all to b slpin at 11pm as tat is e time for lights off, but most of us were not yet in our rm, some were watchin tv, n some playin.. so i went to slp at ard 12+ to 1 like tat, n before i actually fall aslp, one of my room mate who was also slpin on e floor in our slping bags like me saw something crawling pass her which is coming towards my slpin bag there, n tat creature was a cockroach.. luckily i wasnt aslp n not yet lying in my slpin bag yet.. so we shouted cockroach n in less than 2 mins, one of the adults came in n killed it.. woah.. hahaz... saved me.. Tuesday: hmmz, all was supposed to wake up n washed up by 7-8.. den hmmz i was awake at ard 7.15 when i felt somebody actually accidentally kicked me.. =X den after everyone (we youths) r awake, had quiet time, with one adult which is like so called teacher also, in our own groupings for e camp.. den after tat was time for breakfast, had bread with hotdogs.. den was my grp's turn to do e washing.. den had free time after tat, by right is erm sharing time, but erm we all went to play n all tat yea.. den was time for message, sang songs first den speaker preach loh.. hmmz... den was lunch time, food was again tasty... den was 1/2 hr of break time.. den we had games, had telematch games yea.. lolx.. my grp won... hehez.. den bathing time, followed by dinner after tat, had message n again sang songs first, everytime before message by e speaker will have worship leader to lead everyone in singin then pass e time to e speaker n tat nite i was e worship leader loh.. den after tat we all r supposed to have discussions in our own grp, for e acting on thurs nite, hmmz, but bcuz the grp mars only left we 3 pplz in e grp nia cuz a lot went home as they had something on or wadsoever, e other two grps neptune n jupiter was being regrouped loh, as in e three gals from mars was being regrouped into dis 2 grps left lah.. den after tat we started our discussion n tinkin of ideas... after tat same loh, supper n then was time to slp by 11 lights off, but again delay loh.. lolx.. =X but luckily no cockroaches appeared again tat nite.. =) Wednesday: ok, woke up at ard same time as ytd, den was sittin up, still in my slpin bag, stoning, when all of a sudden i spotted a cockroach crawling up my slpin bag n then my first reaction was Scream: ahhh cockroach!! lolx... den i shook my legs to make it get off my slpin bag n it did.. den it crawl to under e bed, den one of them go tell e adults got cockroach in e rm, but they no reaction.. den awhile later, elder thng, brought e baygon into our room n asked us where has it gone to n sprayed it... n e cockroach went dead!! yay!! things again e same as ytd loh.. but hmmz, juz tat breakfast we had bread with luncheon meat, n tat today games were lead by e speaker... n well, e games were fun... played games, tat is physically relaxed but mentally exhausted... the games we played requires lots of our thinkin.. =X den well, another different thing was tat afternoon we ate macaroni cooked by e elder's wife n one of e deacon's wife, n not the rice where the vegetables all tat was being catered.. =X den nite time also e same as e day before, juz tat it's e last message liao loh.. =) hahaz, n durin e message in e morning, we asked e speaker lots of questions yea.. den at nite dinner time, i asked him y do i find him so familiar, lolx, den did i realised he was one of the sunday school teacher who taught me when u'm in pri sch, de husband loh.. lolx.. =X n he asked me i sec wad sia, lolx, he tot i was sec 4.. =X n another thing diff is tat i changed my room where i slp from A to D.. lolx.. cuz D nobody slp liao, other than e elder's wife slpin in dere, bcuz e elder's nieces went hm mah e day before.. n actually by right i was assigned to slp in tat rm but i go change rm.. =X actually i'm goin to sneak go out with a few older campers but i din, as i was tired.. hmmz, if not i would have also been one of them who will get scolded by the adults e following day.. n i will feel guilty too if i did it too.. =X Thursday: ok, morning the things were all e same, except tat no message loh, instead we had time to practice n make our props for the acting at nite.. n breakfast today we had bread with eggs.. den after lunch continue for an hr for our e erm practicing for acting at nite.. den we had water games.. i was wet from head to toe loh.. lolx.. was fun yea.. =) den things same as ytd.. but dinner, is we had sushi n shui jiao.. most of us helped out in making yea.. den had acting after tat, den we had a cake for two of the campers as one of them their birthday falls on today n e other on tat sunday juz b4 our camp.. den we had black pepper crabs to eat too.. cuz the adults cooked it.. =) smiled so delicious, n well i ate one small part nia cuz i dun really like to eat crabs as eatin crab is so troublesome n i dun really noe how 2 eat it.. n tat nite we can slp at wadever time we like... den quite some of us stayed up loh.. played carrom watch world cup.. eat the prizes we had won for acting.. my group won e most creative prize.. somehow i dun find it a bit creative at all.. both grp won e most cooperative prize ar, den share tat prize loh.. den e other grp won e erm best title prize or wad de.. =) den i was a bit crazy lah, kept on laughin n my tears roll out upon tat.. lolx.. den almost everyone went who stayed up went to slp at 2am... Friday: well, i woke up at 8.30am, guess me n rei tian's fren, jaime was e latest to wake up... both of us change to slp at room D on wed nite, n well today we woke up at e same time... was being woken up by e teachers... =X den washed up, pack our stuffs n so on, had breakfast, was bread with butter n kaya.. den e elder lead us in singin den ask us to share wad we feel abt e camp... den at 10.30 we checked out loh.. came back to church n i walked hm... unpacked my bag, bathed n then ate e packet lunch my mum bought back for me den go meet sebastian they all at cck... sentosa trip was cancelled due to prediction of bad weather, kinda disappointed cuz i wanna go sentosa loh.. so bcuz of that nv go sentosa, den a few of us juz meet out to go out loh.. when i reached, only sebastian n yongkim was dere.. den waited quite awhile, hamtatro n weekiat haven reached.. so i went to buy bubble tea drink first, den after i'm back wait a lil while more they reached le... at tat time after i bought bubble tea n walked back to control station dere, we saw weichong so we tok to him awhile loh.. den they reached.. cant decide where to go.. in e end, anyhow choose, so we took bus 172 to boon lay, jurong point... on e way there in e bus, i was actually slpin loh.. tired mah.. lolx.. den we reached, walked awhile, decided to watch silent hill so we bought tickets.. den well, smuggled ock into e cinema... watched e show... i dunno y, but i was actually feelin scared when e show gonna start.. e show lasted for 2 hrs, erm can say still quite ok not scary juz a bit gross, den ending part a bit diaoz, i dun understand e ending sia, so i asked my frens.. i can say it's better than omen, cuz omen is a bit boring but the thing where omen is nice is tat it's scary.. den we went play arcade for awhile after the show, den went to play pool, saw tat they say lvl 5 got kpool, so we went up n see, it's closed.. so we went to jurong entertainment centre play loh.. den 9+ we wanted to go for dinner in e foodcourt there, but almost every stall close n nth much to eat, so we went yew tee n eat in e end... den went mac had a drink den go hm.. well, regarding e camp, i actually had quite a lot of fun, n i learned many things through it.. i liked tat speaker than e past camps de speaker, dunno y but juz find him preach e message is gd, i understand a lot of things.. he challenged all of us to read e bible for 1/2 hr everyday.. i'm gonna try to do that challenge.. n from his message, one of it he said something abt the things we speak, we tok... n indeed his message those things he say r really right... n actually durin e camp after his messages, i actually think abt my actions n all n i felt tat there is things tat i did which r not right n tat displease god.. thus i wanna change it... hmmz, i shall not scold vulgar languages yea, which is one of the things i told myself.. guess this camp really makes me feel tat i'm growing, physical, mentally n spiritually...n i wanna continue to grow spiritually n get a closer walk with him, cuz i realised tat i've been neglecting him n thus not growing spiritually... =X
